Syringe, 50 µl, 0.005 ID x 0.028" OD Needle, Borosilicate Glass, PTFE, 1700 Series, 1705 Model, Gastight Type, Fixed Needle Termination, 22s ga, 3 Point Style, 1000 psi Pressure, 0 to 50°C Temperature Range, Gas Sterilizable
X-Type syringes have a near zero carryover and a long-lasting plunger tip to meet the requirements of sensitive, highthroughput life science applications. The syringe glass barrel is polished and coated for chemical inertness and enhanced lifetime. The needle is deactivated and coated to reduce sample adsorption. The Hamilton® 1700 series is the Gastight® version of the 700 series. The syringes are designed to work with liquids and gases. These syringes use PTFE as an inert plunger seal. They cover capacities from 10 µl to 500 µl. The syringes have an accuracy of ± 1% of the nominal volume. With these syringes liquids only come into contact with glass and PTFE. The plunger assemblies are interchangeable.
