What are heating mantles?
Heating mantles are preferred to Bunsen burners or hot plates for organic liquids. As they provide even heating – no hot spots – and maximum surface coverage for better temperature uniformity. Heating mantles give you more precise temperature control, for accurate and consistent results in processes such as distillation, extraction, and organic synthesis.
The heating mantles we offer are from Glas-Col. They are available in different sizes and capacities to accommodate various types of flasks and vessels.
