Wilmad LabGlass High Vacuum Valve, 9 mm OD

High vacuum valve with a three-way configuration that can used in the manufacturing of manifolds, adapters, etc. The glass valve body features precision-formed tapered valve seats and precision tooled external threads. Design of the cap and valve stem provides a non-rotating primary seal. The valve plugs are interchangeable between valves of the same bore size. The valve plug has two PTFE seal rings that enclose FKM O-rings. This prevents exposure of the O-rings to corrosive gases and liquids. An additional FKM O-ring behind the PTFE seal rings ensures the vacuum seal. The tip of the valve plug has a machined O-ring shape and makes the primary seal to the barrel valve seat. The caps on the valve plugs are manufactured from Delrin®.
