Whatman™ FTA® Purification Reagent, 25 ml

Our Whatman FTA Purification Reagent is used for purifying nucleic acids stored on FTA Cards. FTA Purification Reagent is used to purify DNA captured and stored on FTA Cards. This reagent can be used to wash punches in the "punch-in" procedure for standard STR amplification. FTA Purification Reagent allows for excellent results by removing PCR inhibitors and contaminations, which can lower PCR yields. High-quality DNA can be achieved from samples washed with the FTA Purification Reagent due to the propriety chemistry that facilitates DNA release from the FTA matrix. The versatility of the FTA Purification Reagent allows the user to purify DNA captured on FTA Cards, Indicating FTA Cards, and EasiCollect devices.
