Filter Capsule, 75 mm dia, PTFE Membrane, Polypropylene Housing, 0.1 µm Pore Size, FNPT Inlet and Outlet Connections, 1000 cm2 Filtration Area, 60 psi Operating Pressure, Non-sterile, Autoclavable
GE's Whatman Polycap TF filters are made with durable, hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes in a polypropylene housing for use with organic solvents and chemically aggressive solutions. Filtration of organic solvents and aggressive solutions requires a durable membrane for filtration without sample contamination. Autoclavable Polycap TF capsule filters feature PTFE membranes with high chemical resistance. Common applications include venting, in-line filtration to sterilize and remove particles from air/gas/liquid streams, filtration to ensure clean inert gases in vial filling lines, and isolation of exhaust from fermenters.
