PTFE stirrer bearing for precision 10 mm ground glass stirring shafts. It is the perfect choice for moderate vacuum conditions. The bearing consists of a PTFE compression cap and a standard taper PTFE body with a Teffe o-ring on the outside taper to prevent the joint from freezing. The PTFE compression cap provides for fine adjustments of stirring rod tension on the inner PTFE saddle o-ring. The saddle o-ring provides only glass and PTFE contact with the reaction. The UHMW loosening nut above the PTFE tapered joint assures quick and easy removal.
