Grease-free PTFE bearing that is designed for moderate vacuum pressures up to 10 to 6. Bearing consists of a threaded glass adapter with a standard taper inner joint, PTFE body bushing with a compression cap, locking nut, FPM washer, and a precision PTFE inner bearing. The saddle o-ring provides only glass and PTFE contact with the reaction, while allowing for a vacuum tight seal. The design of the bearing allows replacement of the PTFE inner bearing and/or the PTFE saddle o-ring at a fraction of the total unit cost. For use with polished 10 mm glass stirrer shafts.
