With a melting poing of 2610°C, molybdenum crucibles can be used for performing high temperature fusions in a vacuum or inert atmosphere. Molybdenum crucibles exhibit excellent resistance to most acids, including sulfuric, hydrofluoric and hydrochloric, and are highly resistant to corrosion by many molten materials such as metals and glass. Metal Technology offers a standard line of crucibles and covers from 20 ml to 100 ml and can also supply custom vessels and tubing.
