This unit is the same as the DWK Life Sciences (Wheaton) 358103 series, but with a PTFE pestle for soft tissues such as brain. The stainless steel rod is 0.25" (6.3 mm) in dia and is long enough to fit into the chuck of the DWK Life Sciences (Wheaton) overhead stirrer.
