Amersham Hybond-XL is a novel, charged nylon membrane that has a greater concentration and a more even distribution of positive charge than other charged nylon membranes. It retains all the features of other nylon membranes including high binding capacity up to 600 µg/cm2, efficient binding of small fragments, effective probe removal, and exceptional properties for reprobing. It has been designed exclusively for nucleic acid transfer applications using radioactive detection to achieve an improved signal to noise ratio.
